Frequently Asked Questions

How do I save an article?

Click the PickPoc icon in your browser toolbar while viewing any article. You can optionally add tags, then click "Save Article". The article will appear in your reading list at pickpoc.link.

Why can't I sign in to the Chrome extension?

Make sure you're using the same email and password you used to sign up at pickpoc.link. If you've forgotten your password, visit pickpoc.link/forgot-password to reset it.

Why is my article showing a gradient instead of a screenshot?

Some websites (like Medium) block automated screenshot capture. In these cases, we display a colorful gradient placeholder instead. Your article is still saved and accessible.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the Profile page in the app. This will permanently delete all your data including saved articles, tags, and screenshots.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use AWS infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Your password is securely hashed and never stored in plain text. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I import my Pocket data?

Go to your Profile page in the app and use the Pocket Import feature. Export your data from Pocket as a CSV file, then upload it to PickPoc.

Chrome Extension Troubleshooting

Extension not appearing in toolbar

Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar, find PickPoc, and click the pin icon to keep it visible.

"Failed to save article" error

Check your internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, try signing out and back in. Some special pages (chrome://, file://) cannot be saved.

Tags not loading

This is usually a temporary network issue. You can still type new tags manually. Try closing and reopening the extension popup.
